If you are interested in working for Plus Dane, please take the time to read through these guidelines first – they’re designed to help you make the very best of your application.
In order to make it as easy as possible for you when completing your online application form on our website, we advise that you use the latest browser version and suggest you use Google Chrome. Older browser versions may not be compatible and may affect submitting your application form via our website.
At the moment it is also not possible for you to partially complete your online application, save it and come back to it at a later date - so we recommend you prepare your application and then copy and paste the information into the form before submitting.
Please complete the personal details section fully as this will enable us to contact you if we need to.
CVs should only be submitted as supplementary information, not as a replacement for the form or for sections on the form.
When completing the competency-based questions we are keen to hear about any voluntary / community work and other experience you may have had as well as paid work – all experience counts, and we know that many valuable skills are developed outside the paid workplace.
You should also pay careful attention to the values listed in the job pack; our values underpin all the roles within Plus Dane, and there will be some form of assessment against these at the interview.
When completing your application form, remember that the shortlisting panel will assess your application based solely on what you provide – so make sure you include everything you can to increase your chances. The form needs to include information which gives clear evidence about how you meet the specific requirements of the job you are applying for, as described in the role profile. You can include this information in the ‘relevant experience and skills’ section of the application form.
If your application does not include information as to how you feel you meet the specific requirements of the job you are applying for, it is likely your application will be unsuccessful.
