Merseyside support

Give Get Go - a person centred employability programme that offers 12 weeks of holistic support. The project covers a range of topics including workology, work ready skills and great volunteering opportunities to help gain experience. Give Get Go also have many links to employers.

Better Off Finance - a local project running across Liverpool neighbourhoods dedicated to providing friendly 1-2-1 money management support. The project is run in partnership with local citizen’s advice centres. Specialist Key Workers help to deal with money worries, build skills, help lower bills, access to training, understanding your budgets and improving employability.

Include IT Mersey - personalised digital skills project linked to employment support. Project helps those who are digitally isolated and wanting to gain employment. Residents who are aged 45+ living in Liverpool, Halton, Knowsley and Sefton. 22 local delivery partners run a number of sessions within communities.

Antrec - offers a range of training programmes across Liverpool including several work specific training programmes such as taxi training, customer services, social care and hospitality. Antrec also have great links to employers across Merseyside so often successful completion of courses leads to interviews.

Enterprise Hub - this project offers a range of 1-2-1 support for tenants interested in becoming self-employed. Whether it’s a top-up to an existing job, or something to fit around other commitments, self-employment might be right for some tenants.

Brighter Futures - supports young people aged between 16-24 to improve their skills and get real world work experience via training courses and traineeships that ensure young people are equipped with the skills they need to get a job.

Cheshire support

Pathways to Employment - a specialist employability project which is supported by six partners who will support tenants across Cheshire. Our approved partners are; The Young Women’s Trust, Congleton Learning Partnership, Cheshire East Council, DIB and the WEA. Support will include; specialist 1-2-1 coaching, CV, interview practice, work ready skills, confidence, wellbeing, training, volunteering and job searching. 

Cheshire East Work Clubs - a range of support provided to help tenants improve their employment prospects. Work clubs running in Alsager, Congleton, Crewe, Macclesfield, Middlewich and Sandbach. Visit workclubs on the website for more information.
