First Family move in to their new home in £12m Delph scheme
The first family has been welcomed to their new home at the exclusive Bakestones development, a £12m scheme of high quality new properties in the village of Delph.
The development of 46 stylish two, three and four bedroom homes for sale, has proved hugely popular since the release of the first 18 homes, with 14 reserved to date and the first new owners moving in.
Built by Three60 Property Developers, part of Merseyside and Cheshire based housing association, Plus Dane , development at the Bakestones site had previously stalled for a number of years, but, after Three60 secured Get Britain Building funding from the Homes and Communities Agency for the first phase of the development, building work began in March 2013.
Teresa Lee and her husband Wayne secured a new home at The Bakestones before the foundations were even laid and couldn’t be happier. Teresa, said: “The development was immediately attractive to us, the location was ideal and we really wanted to move here. It’s perfect for us and feels like a happy home already, we couldn’t be happier back in the village community, we’re within walking distance of the school and the children are near their friends which has made a big difference.”
Claire Griffiths, Group Property Director at Plus Dane Group, said: “We are delighted to have brought forward such a quality and stylish development in Delph. This is a flagship scheme in a great location, offering a range of quality house types, and so there’s lots of choice for buyers.”
Deborah McLaughlin, the Homes & Communities Agency’s Executive Director in the North West, said: "This development will provide much-needed new affordable homes in Delph - it is fantastic to see the huge difference that the Homes and Communities Agency, by working with our partners, can make to the lives of local people.”
Prices at The Bakestones range from £230,000 to £389,950 and the show home is available to view every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm. Appointments for viewings can also be made by contacting Ryder and Dutton on 0161 925 3235.
