Forget-Me-Not service one of the best in UK
Our supported services team is celebrating national recognition of their high quality 24-hour call out service in Cheshire.
The Plus Dane Forget-Me-Not service has retained its Platinum status as awarded by the TSA (Telecare Services Association) - we are now one of only 26 organisations nationwide who can boast this rare professional accreditation.
Forget-Me-Not is all about helping to keep older people, and people living with long-term medical issues, living independently in their own homes longer by offering a range of affordable telecare and telehealth services.
These include a round-the-clock dignity lifting service – which last year saved the local ambulance service around £25,000 in call outs to falls in the home – professional support, and personal alarms that can call for medical assistance, alert of falls, or remind users to take medication.
The 24-hour response is manned by our own team, which has 14 staff across the organisation. Plus Dane has invested in a variety of new equipment to ensure it can offer a personalised service to meet each customer’s individual needs.
Forget-Me-Not is currently available to anyone living in the Cheshire East area, whether they are a Plus Dane customer or not.
The next target is to obtain a TSA Platinum accreditation for Merseyside, which already offers some similar services and is being reviewed and expanded as part of ongoing improvements.
