• Sir Peter Fahy

    Sir Peter Fahy was a police officer for 34 years including five years as Chief Constable of Cheshire and seven as Chief Constable of Greater Manchester. During this time he took the lead on many change programmes including introducing neighbourhood policing in both forces and was active on national policy work including terrorism, workforce reform and leadership development. He is currently the Chief Executive of the street children charity Retrak based in Cheadle Hulme and works in Ethiopia, Malawi and Uganda.

  • Brian Gowthorpe

    Brian Gowthorpe is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with broad experience in commercial and residential property development, asset management, site acquisition and financial appraisal. Key specialist areas include sustainable development, regeneration, building defects, low carbon retrofit, energy strategy, public private partnerships, social housing and estate rationalisation. He is also accredited by the RICS as a Chartered Building Conservation Surveyor.

  • Robin Lawler

    Robin is the Chief Executive of Northwards Housing, the 3 Star ALMO set up to manage and improve the Council's 13,500 homes in North Manchester. He is a member of Manchester’s Strategic Housing Board and Chairs the North Manchester Housing Partnership.

She is Consultant Director at communications, marketing and behaviour change consultancy, Corporate Culture Group, where she advises and works with a range of private, public and third sector clients nationally and internationally.

  • Tommy McIlravey

    Tommy works as Chief Executive Officer of Sahir House, a charity working in the field of HIV and sexual health in Merseyside and North Cheshire. He has 18 years’ experience at board level of a number of other charities and public bodies with a local, regional and national focus. This currently includes a role as a Lay Trustee for the Royal College of Pathologists. He is also an experienced trainer and third sector management consultant, advising organisations around diverse issues, such as: strategy, governance, marketing and fundraising.

  • Rob O'Malley

    Rob is Head of Strategic Planning and Investor Relations at Electricity North West, the electricity distribution network operator for Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria. Previously Rob enjoyed a career with NatWest Bank lending to businesses in the region and later joined United Utilities where he developed his treasury management skills. He is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and Association of Corporate Treasurers.

  • Lyndsey Jayne Burkert

    Lyndsey currently works at Liverpool John Moores University within the Business School. Alongside working within the HE Sector for the last 14 years, Lyndsey has also worked for Property Consultants, National House Builders and supported senior level roles in NHS, Public Sector and Private Sector organisations. An active member of CIPD Merseyside & Cheshire and having worked in HR & L&D roles for the last 20 years also holds memberships to CMI, Institute of Leadership & Management. Lyndsey recently achieved an MBA with Merit from University of Liverpool and chose to specialise in Management for not for profit organisations.

Jon is CEO at The Landing MediaCityUK heading up a groundbreaking technology project and business innovation centre. His detailed knowledge and expertise spans broadcast, post-production, interactive and advertising.

  • Dr Ann Hoskins

    Ann has over 30 years’ experience working in public health in the UK and in the Republic of Yemen. She has successfully led innovations in health strategy, policy development and programme implementation to improve health and service delivery. She has local, regional and national senior leadership experience with Public Health England, Deputy Director Health and Wellbeing: Healthy People; NHS North West Strategic Health Authority, Director Children, Young People and Maternity; and Manchester and Wirral Health Authorities, Director of Public Health.

  • Julie Gill

    Julie has worked in senior roles across the public sector, including local government, housing, regeneration and education and is currently a Chief Officer for Cheshire Constabulary, taking the lead on Business Services for Cheshire Police as part of the Chief Constable's force leadership team. She has many years of experience at board level covering finance, commercial and property management, change management and HR in her various roles.
