Plus Dane welcomes new director for Ellesmere Port and Neston

Plus Dane Housing has appointed a new director for its services in Ellesmere Port and Neston.

Kate Jungnitz joins Plus Dane from Riverside Housing, where she was head of community engagement.

With nearly 30 years’ experience in housing, she has been based in Merseyside since 1999, moving into management in 2003.

Starting her career as a housing officer in Leeds, she has also worked in the Islington and Kensington and Chelsea areas of London, with experience in housing and tenancy management, regeneration and community and resident engagement.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining Plus Dane as the new director of Ellesmere Port and Neston. It is an exciting time for the organisation and a great opportunity to be a part of delivering the best possible service for tenants. It is an area I know well, and am looking forward to the challenges of the new role.”

Ms Jungnitz, from Wirral, succeeds previous Ellesmere Port and Neston director Peter Shaw, who retired in January.

Commenting on her appointment, Plus Dane’s Chief Executive Barbara Spicer said: “We are welcoming Kate to the organisation at a time of huge change for Plus Dane. Her understanding of the issues facing the housing sector and considerable leadership experience will be a strong addition to the organisation as we move forward with our new corporate plan. She will be key to how we shape our services in the Ellesmere Port and Neston area moving forward.”

Plus Dane provides housing management services for 5,800 homes in Ellesmere Port and Neston on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council.
