Introducing Wellbeing Enterprises

We have teamed up with Wellbeing Enterprises CIC to launch a new support service designed to help customers across Merseyside improve their health and wellbeing. 

The service provides practical, social, and emotional support, supporting Plus Dane customers to recognise their strengths, focus on what matters most to them, and take steps towards improving their overall wellbeing. The approach is rooted in building personal confidence, strengthening community connections, and supporting people to make positive and lasting changes in their lives. 

Customers will have access to one-to-one support with a dedicated Wellbeing Officer, who will work alongside them to navigate challenges, access local resources, and reconnect with opportunities in their community. 

Mark Swift, CEO of Wellbeing Enterprises CIC, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working in partnership with Plus Dane to support residents across Merseyside. This new Wellbeing Support Service represents a shared ambition to help residents overcome challenges, build on their strengths and capabilities, and take steps towards living healthier and happier lives.” 

This service is available to all Plus Dane customers across Merseyside and is designed to complement existing support by providing a friendly and accessible route to building wellbeing. This service runs alongside a similar initiative available to our customers in Cheshire, Wellbeing First. 

Jade Morris, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Plus Dane, said: “Our wellbeing offer has become a vital part of how we can support our customers in recent years. We are pleased to be partnering with Wellbeing Enterprises to continue providing quality, expert help to those who are in need and look forward to working together to assist us across Merseyside.”

Wellbeing Enterprises is a health and wellbeing social enterprise based in the Northwest of England. As one of the first Community Interest Companies (CICs) in the UK, its mission is to help everyone live happier, healthier, longer lives. It does this by educating and supporting people, mobilising assets and resources in communities and working together with partners to tackle the underlying causes of poor health.
