Like all employers with more than 250 staff, we are required to publish our gender pay gap figures every year - and these are made public on the gov.uk website.
This year, for the first time we have made an accompanying report available which gives more information.
The gender pay gap reflects the difference in average earnings between men and women across our workforce. It is a key measure of gender equality and helps us identify possible areas for improvement.
Key findings from our 2024/25 data show that at Plus Dane:
Our median hourly pay gap is 6.4%
This means that, on average, women earned 93.6p for every £1 earned by men. Analysis of data indicates the reason for the increase in median pay gap is linked to:
• An increase in women paid at lower middle pay quartile (24% increase from 2023/24)
• An increase in men paid at upper middle pay quartile (21% increase)
So whilst both above show increases, the increase for men is at the higher pay level, and is increasing the median pay gap.
Our mean hourly pay gap is 1.7%
We are proud that our gender pay gap remains below the national average (c.13%). The report highlights areas where we continue to focus our efforts, particularly in supporting career progression and representation at senior levels.
We remain committed to promoting inclusive recruitment and development, supporting flexible working arrangements, and ensuring transparency in pay.
