We have begun our annual winter campaign to support customers over the festive season and colder months.
The winter campaign is designed to provide Christmas presents for children, care packages and winter warmth items to customers who would otherwise go without, as well as supplying emergency food and fuel vouchers, and helping with practical wellbeing support from partner organisations where needed. Customers living in our supported accommodation also have a chance to take part in festive events and Christmas parties, to help combat social isolation.
We use our customer data to identify those who would benefit from the support of the campaign, as well as taking referrals from colleagues and partners. We help thousands of customers every year.
Generous support from partner contractors and organisations, as well as own own winter campaign and emergency support funds, helps to provide the necessities that really make a difference at this time of year.
Plus Dane colleagues also volunteer to wrap and deliver care packages, as well as making donations to the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas and the NSPCC Congleton Christmas Toy Appeal.
Our head of social impact, Emma Sneyd, said: “While we are here for our customers all year round, the winter campaign is our biggest push to get support to people who need it. The cost of living crisis is still affecting many of our customers, and as a social landlord we have a part to play in making sure people and families have the essentials to keep warm at home, look after their mental health, and have what they need to enjoy Christmas.”
If you are a Plus Dane customer who needs support over the festive season, call us on 0800 169 2988. Our lines are open 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
