We have published our latest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report.
The report shares the progress of the second year of a five-year plan.
Plus Dane's ESG targets include making sure all new homes are built to EPC average B, a £1.75m investment in community activities, and allocating 10% of homes to homeless cases every year.
Deputy chief executive Claire Dixon said: “In 2024 we created a new vision for Plus Dane, of delivering quality homes, great services and vibrant communities. We have been working hard to embed this vision into everything we do.
“ESG reporting aligns directly with this and helps us strengthen how we demonstrate the value we bring to these key areas. This is year two of our journey, and we recognise that we still have much to do. But we are a purpose-led, performance-driven organisation, and I believe our continued strength and sustainability will ensure our long-term ability to deliver our vision.”
The ESG report outlines progress made in the areas of social value, sustainability and corporate responsibility. Successful outcomes in 2024/25 included:
• Contributing £908,729 to community investment and funding £20,000 in local projects to help tackle the cost-of-living crisis
• Helping 1231 customers improve their health and wellbeing through mental health support, befriending, community activities and partner provision
• Providing 811 customers in crisis with emergency food and fuel totalling £99,156.39
• Supporting 104 customers into employment and training
• As part of our sustainability commitments, we have fitted customers' homes with energy saving measures like solar PV systems (597 homes), ventilation fans (932 homes) and loft insulation top ups (274 homes)

• Holding community clean up days and gardening events across our schemes and communities.
• Adopting Sustainability for Housing’s ESG reporting standard, which confirmed compliance with almost all of the criteria and identified some areas for improvement to be taken forward as part of our Net Zero project.
