Once you've had a look through, please fill in our Alterations Request form below. Our Alterations team will then review your request and you'll be assigned a case manager who'll act as your point of contact at Plus Dane.
We will always aim to provide a decision in writing within 28 days of receiving your request.

Typical alterations likely to be allowed with permission:

Broadband
Ring doorbells
Smart Meter
Water meter
Carpet fitting
Change light switches
External tap
Kitchen improvements (Flooring, taps, worktops, light, etc)
Bathroom improvements (Flooring, taps, tiles, light, etc)
Electric shower (work must be carried out by a competent company registered with NICEIC or NAPIT and copies of certificates must be provided once completed).
Laminate flooring (except in flats above ground floor and we will not replace if we need to lift for repairs)
External sockets (work must be carried out by a competent company registered with NICEIC or NAPIT and copies of certificates must be provided once completed).
TV satellite dish (houses/bungalows only)
Small Sheds & greenhouses (10ft x 8ft / 3m x 2.5m max) Rear garden only Timber, Plastic or aluminium, Brick or block not allowed.
Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points – approval subject to installation to industry standards and signing up to a service chargeable agreement for Plus Dane to service and repair. To include rights of access.
Driveways – approval subject to installation to industry standards and Local Authority approval and not crossing communal garden/driveways.
Alterations unlikely to be given permission / not allowed:
Power supplies to outhouses, sheds or greenhouses
Alterations to existing electrical circuit such as extra sockets within home
Replacement/removal of internal and/or external Fire doors
Satellite dish (Blocks of flats)
Flueless gas appliances (Gas fires, Stoves)
Log burners / solid fuel burners. (If fitted we will isolate and disconnect)
Alterations to communal aerials
Installation of internal spotlights/downlights
Cat or dog flaps
Structural alterations;
Layout change (addition or movement of walls)
Arches/openings in walls
Installation of stud partition walls
Change of use of rooms
Extensions
Conservatories
Lean to structures
Loft Conversions
Removal of chimney breasts
Garden walls
Fences/walls to communal spaces/open plan estates
Patios to communal spaces
Ponds
