We have published our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report for 2025/26, which shares the progress of the third year of a five-year plan.
Plus Dane's ESG targets include making sure all new homes are built to EPC average B, £1.75m investment in community activities, and allocating 10% of homes to homeless customers every year.
Deputy chief executive Claire Dixon said: “We continue to embed our vision for Plus Dane of delivering quality homes, great services and vibrant communities into everything we do. Our 2026 ESG report aligns directly with this and helps us strengthen how we demonstrate the value we bring to these key areas.
“Challenging economic conditions continued in 2025/26, but we stood firm and invested £27m into our existing homes, delivered 56% of our three-year Growth Strategy at the end of year two, and we smashed our 10% homes to homeless target by allocating 37% of our homes to homeless customers in 2025/26.”
There is still much to do, but the ESG report outlines real progress made in the areas of social value, sustainability and corporate responsibility. Successful outcomes in 2025/26 include:
* Contributing £863,284 to community investment and providing £48,738 to 57 community projects to mark our 50th anniversary
* Our Welfare Team achieved £2m in financial gains for customers, plus our referral partner, RAISE Advice, secured a further £1.5m financial support for our customers
* 3,581 customers received support through our one referral route
* 763 customers received crisis support costing £93,323 (food and energy vouchers)
* 126 customers supported into work and training
* 1,800 residents supported through our annual winter campaign
* £35,650 grants given to 25 community groups
* 442 hours volunteered by colleagues across the year
* As part of our sustainability commitments, we have fitted customers' homes with energy saving measures like solar PV systems (307 homes), ventilation fans (171 homes), internal wall insulation (121 homes) and loft insulation top ups (46 homes)
* We supported 32 community events across our neighbourhoods
