Thanks to colleagues at Plus Dane and our friends at Frank Rogers Building Contractors, in partnership with Plus Dane Housing, we beat the bad weather last week to hold a successful "Big Help Out" event at our Victoria Settlement scheme in Everton.
The Big Help Out involved a series of activities, including, litter picking and gardening, The event not only improved the surroundings at Victoria Settlement, but also highlighted our ongoing commitment to social value and community support and the importance of partnership working as part of that.
Last year with Frank Rogers, we worked alongside Cash for Kids to deliver £10,000 worth of uniforms, supporting local families in need.
Our strategic partnerships manager Jade Morris said: “It has been great to see so many Plus Dane colleagues, as well as our partner organisations like Frank Rogers, so keen to get involved to volunteer their time to improve the communities we serve. Work like this makes a real difference to residents and we are really pleased to see the results from this event.”
