Mike has extensive leadership and financial management experience gained through a long career in local government. Spending much of his career at Knowsley Borough Council, he served in a range of senior leadership roles before becoming Chief Executive in 2014.
A qualified accountant, he has significant experience in strategic planning, governance, audit and assurance, risk management, financial oversight and organisational transformation. Mike has led a number of major regeneration and development projects and has held board-level positions across the housing, culture and leisure sectors. His broad experience of leadership, stakeholder engagement and public service delivery brings valuable insight and expertise to Plus Dane's Board and Audit & Assurance Committee.
